Like the rest of the rooms in this network, Poker Ocean is a young site yet has been hitting on all cylinders since its inception and continues to increase in popularity.Poker Ocean’s software is available in 5 languages (English, French, Spanish, German, and Italian) and mirrors that of its sister sites Noble Poker and Titan Poker - it’s fast, easy-to-use, and reliable. The graphics (‘beach’ theme here) are superb, as we’d expect from Playtech, and, overall, there’s really nothing to complain about in this respect.
Player traffic would probably be the biggest concern/drawback at Poker Ocean, but considering it’s part of the fastest growing network online (iPoker) this really isn't a problem. In addition, the site’s youth also lends itself to the presence of quite a few ‘soft’ games - players here are rather passive. If you’re looking to be a winner somewhere and take on some soft comp, this could be the place for you.
Promotions at Poker Ocean are actually pretty decent for such a young site with only a moderate volume of players. There’s a 50% match up to $200 for signing-up and the site’s loyalty program, while not amazing, is more than adequate. The Jackpot Sit’N’Go tournaments are perhaps one of the site’s best features. Whether it’s the possibility to win $100,000 from six consecutive victories in the $50 buy-ins, or the Sit’N’Gos where you can pick up some huge amounts of cash if you win four of the two-table 12-player tournaments in a row, tournament action at Poker Ocean can be pretty fun and very lucrative! Regular and daily freerolls are also commonplace here and run well.
Like we said, Poker Ocean has hit the ground running and only increases in popularity in quality. The room is also bringing in players at a record-breaking pace.. If you like Titan, Noble, or CD Poker but are looking for a ‘change’ (in terms of theme, scene, players, whatever…) give Poker Ocean a shot - this young site is a lot of fun and offers some great promotional deals.
